A RESILIENT SOCIETY 5.0 TO RE-INVENT THE FUTURE
We know that we are capable of reinventing ourselves to overpass important changes that our world experiment. How to converge below the unique and one sky? It is an entire process to acquire the ability to adapt and build again in a sense that the world can progress and learn from experience. The whole operation is not the goal itself but how we build a new way of thinking and experiences that can release a consistent roots story.
A KINETIC SUBSTANCE
The pavilion is not a defined and fixed object, it is under construction. It is alive and in perpetual motion, following what visitors want or can experience. The visitors are involved in the creation and modifications of the spaces. Movables panels and curtains are implemented in order to provide a maximum of flexibility of the spaces and give the opportunity to the visitor to experience the pavilion in its entirety.
AN EPHEMERAL ELEMENT
The pavilion intends to perform with humility on a plot that has a strong geographical location. The pavilion is a question, a reflection. As the the whole Expo itself, the pavilion will be temporary mounted. The main structure is an ephemeral scaffolding easy to mount and unmount. It welcomes a route around the core, that offers to the visitors a disruptive experience and question about the common extravagant and varnished pavilions of the Expo. Are we able and responsible to build a future society that can host our lives as human beings but also as a resilient and capable society?
The proposal focuses on the process instead of the aim.
